LeBron James says Tom Brady is not the GOAT athlete, Brady responds

Recently,Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James added fuel to that fire, stating
 that, as great as Tom Brady is, he can't be considered the GOAT athlete becau
se of the nature of the game he plays.
最近LBJ受訪談到Tom Brady，他認為儘管Brady如此出色，但由於所參加比賽的性質，他
不能被視為運動員中的GOAT。


“My only argument with a football player being the greatest athlete of all ti
me is that they only gotta play one side of the floor, man,” James said, as q
uoted by CBS Sports.Yes, Brady is unbelievable. Brady is the greatest quarterb
ack I’ve ever seen, but he affects the game one way.”

y — but for a quarterback, [Patriots coach Bill] Belichick has done a great j
ob of implementing those five guys in front to protect that asset,” James con
tinued.

“For us [as basketball players], every single night, you gotta know both side
s. … When I played football, offensively, I never even talked to the defensiv
e side. I never even talked to y’all. Ain’t nothing to talk about. I’m not
saying he’s not great. He’s the greatest football player of all time,” Jame
s concluded.



“It really just depends what style you like,”Brady said on HBO's The Shop.“
You could say, ‘Well, you’re maybe the most accomplished.’ I would say,‘OK
 yeah, I’ve won a lot of games, Super Bowls and so forth.’

Tom Brady對此也回應表示：這真的取決於你喜歡什麼樣的風格，你可以說：‘好吧，你
可能是最有成就的。’我會說，‘是的沒錯，我贏了很多比賽，超級碗等等。’

But my style of play might not fit everybody else’s, what their view of what
that position should be. I can really just be the best with the body that I wa
s given. There’s certain things that I certainly cannot do. And I have the aw
areness to realize, ‘OK, I can’t do those things.’?


You can’t do everyone else’s job. I can’t block, tackle, run, catch — sure
t do that. And let me do that really well.”
你無法做所有其他人的工作。 我不能阻擋、擒抱、跑、接球——當然不能跑——但我可
