Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant has a rather bold statement he would like
to make ahead of the NBA restart in Orlando, Florida.
在要前進出發至奧蘭多打球前，灰熊菜鳥Ja Morant有個相當大膽的想法。

The league will allow players to replace their respective names with social
causes or statements on the back of their jerseys.
聯盟將允許球員將球衣可以因為社會因素或者要做陳述，可在背後原本名字的部分作修
改。

However, Morant apparently wants to put a blunt message for police forces in
the wake of social unrest and protest against police brutality.
不過，針對現在社會不安以及對於警察暴力的抗議，Morant想要直截了當放要給警察的訊
息在球衣上。

The phrase is anti-police in nature, with “12” representing police drug
units.
這口號本意是反對警察，"12"(Morant球衣號碼是12)代表了警察緝毒組。

Aside from the numerous incidents of police violence perpetrated against
Black Americans as of late, numerous studies — including one from Michigan
State University — show Black people are far more likely to be wrongfully
convicted for drug crimes.

For his part, the Grizzlies rising star does not seem to be playing around

of tension with respect to racial injustice in America.
